Apple has organized an event on 23rd of October and it is rumored that iPad Mini might be released in that event. This might have an effect on the launch of Windows 8 platform and surface tablet of Microsoft on October 26th. From many months it is being expected that Apple is up to release a smaller and less costly version of iPad to prevent its rivals from dominating the market.

According to a survey the revelations are that only 18% of the people who participated in the survey said they would buy the iPad mini whereas 32% said they could not decide.
The big cost in a tablet is its display and if it is reduced the display will be a bit cheaper. So, it can be expected that it might not appeal to the users. But on the other hand it could appeal to some because it is “The Apple iPad Mini” we are talking about.
