CEX.IO is a commodity exchange website designed to enable registered users to trade in the mining facilities. Put in the simplest terms, the website provides a platform for users to get Bitcoins, the virtual currency used online for different purposes, through the sale and purchase of mining hardware with other users of the website. The website in itself does not play any role in the either buying or selling of the mining hardware. Given the fact that my knowledge about GHS trading and mining hardware is almost non-existent, I found the website not only quite informative but also truly appealing. Given below is the detailed review of the various aspects of the wesbsite https://cex.io/

Design: Of course the design is the first things that attracts us to a website and in this case I must say that the design really appealing. Given the fact that the website deals with the issue of mining hardware trading, a topic that not many internet users are familiar with, the simple yet attractive layout gives a friendly look. The contrast of turquoise and black text colors used on a black and white background respectively, adds to the elegant look. The website does not feature any high-tech-graphics or animations because there is essentially no need for the same. The only thing that I found lacking about the design was that the website does not feature any page tags at the top and the users have to scroll all the way down to the end to see what all is featured.

Focus: In terms of focus, the website takes full points as right from the moment I landed on the home page I was made aware of what this platform is all about.  Ample information has been provided for first time users as well as expert traders. There is also a graphical representation of the trading trends as well as the market depth and users can view information ranging from the present day to 1 week and even I month.

Operation: I found the operation of the website extremely smooth and the navigation across pages was really fast. The GHS/BTC price was also being constantly updated so that I really got the latest pricing details and could carry on the trading accordingly. However, the absence of a site map was really disappointing as I had to keep on referring to the features to see which page I wanted to explore next.

Content: The content is totally relevant to what the website is designed for. However, I was worried by the fact that the language was a bit too technical, especially in sections which are supposed to provide an explanation for concepts like mining hardware and GHS. In fact, as a first time user, I could just gather against by combining my prior knowledge about Bitcoins and going through some easier sections of the FAQ’s and Getting Started. I would even say that the language is intended only for professional mining traders, which is really disappointing as the platform could easily attract several new users interested in trading.
