Chinese pop star Jimmy Kimmel has posted pictures of himself with what seems to be the new Iphone 5. Shocked? Are you wondering how on earth this is possible, iPhone 5 available to a Chinese guy even before its scheduled release, no matter how famous he is. Well, don’t you worry? It’s just an attention seeking guy, who posted pictures of himself holding a fake phone. Jimmy Kimmel is a popular Chinese pop singer also called Dreamer Jimmy. He has around 14 million followers on a Chinese networking site. He has enough followers, so he does not have to do this for seeking attention. But, who knows, the real motives of celebrities? One thing we know for sure is the one he is holding in the pictures is not the real iPhone 5. It is a realistic looking mock-up. The device in his hands seem to be having a longer screen, an aluminum back and a smaller 19-pin connector. This all fits the features of the new Iphone 5, but it does not make it legit.
Now, think for a second why would Apple pull up such a stunt? If it did so to generate more excitement for Apple products, in a world that is dominated by Android then isn’t it evident that Apple had already stirred up enough excitement by selling out all its new products within an hour of the opening of its pre-order sales?? Need it a pop star do more??
It is definitely an attempt to grab attention. What Jimmy kimmel possesses is a forgery, fake and nothing more. Another thing raising red flags: Lin pulled a similar stunt in December of 2010, picturing himself with a claimed iPad mini in his hand. Aren’t these enough to say the real intentions of this Chinese star?
Apple iPhone 5 is all set to hit the markets on 21st of September and any version released before it is just a fake.
