1.      Light your subject well

The better lit your subject is the clearer your image will be. If possible shoot outside or turn the lights inside if you are shooting indoors. If you are shooting indoors and you have turned on the lights to add extra light to your shot. But be careful that artificial lights has an impact on the color cast in your shots and might need to experiment with white balance. Some cameras come with inbuilt flash and it adds clarity to the shot. If your camera does not have that facility, you should avoid hooting into bright lights or your subjects will end up in silhouettes.

2.Keep Still

Like in digital photography, the more steady your camera phone is when taking your shot the clearer your image will be. It is especially important in low light situations when the camera will select longer shutter speeds to compensate for the low light. One way to deal with this is by leaning on a solid object when taking shots.

3.      Edit Images Later

It is sure fun to use your camera phone’s inbuilt editing effects, but editing pictures later on your computer produces much better quality images. 4.      Avoid using Digital zoom

It feels nice to zoom in on your subject when you capture the picture, but it will decrease the picture quality of your shot. You can on your computer always edit your shot later using photo editing software. Some camera phones come with optical zoom, these are better to use than digital zoom as they do not enlarge your subject by enlarging pixels.

5.Keep your lens clean
