I may be somewhat of a video game fanatic. I just really love these games and they just seem to be getting better every day. I am not alone. There are plenty of others out there that really enjoy video games. Here is a little history for you.
I have been playing video games since the days of Pong. I have been enjoying them since they were first created. That is something that not many video game players can say about themselves. I have enjoyed every single minute of it.
During my many years of mashing buttons, I have accumulated quite a collection of video games. I have purchased just about every video game system that has been on the market, and of course I have amassed quite a collection of games for each system.
I have been transformed from a video game player into something of a video game collector without even really trying. I have just enjoyed them for so long.

Parting With Some of My Collection
Back in the day, I never wanted to get rid of any of my video games. There were several reasons for that. There were no new video games being released every day, and I just loved playing them all the time. Today, this is a completely different story. There are dozens of great new games coming out every single day. Video games in today’s market are not cheap either. Today’s games are costing upwards of $50 and $60 apiece. It does not take very many video games to set you back a few hundred dollars. It can be a very expensive habit, especially when you want to have all of the latest and greatest titles that seem to come out once or twice a week.
My video game addiction was getting expensive. I needed to find a way to unload some of my older games that I was not playing anymore. I could have used one of those auction sites, but I did not want to wait to find out how much I might get for some of my video games at auction. Notice how I said, “some of my video games”, I kept the best of them.
Luckily a friend of mine who was also just as much of a video game junky told me about musicMagpie.com. Before speaking to my friend, I had no idea that places like this even existed. I was like a kid in a candy store. I was very excited because now I could feed my video game habit without breaking the bank. I could get rid of all my old video games that I no longer wanted, and make some really fast cash! This was exactly what I was looking for!
The process was really simple too. I just went to their website and typed in the UPC code on the back of the game and the website told me how much the game was worth. Bingo! I knew exactly how much money I could get from my games without having to wait for an auction to finish!
