Mobile phones are the most wanted gadgets in the world. Mobile phones are the future computer. Three to four years earlier web access on the phone was not even thought about, but today internet is being used like a pro on the phones, all thanks to smartphones. However the mobile phones not matter how advanced technology they use, there are still some things they lack when compared to the computers. There are some disadvantages of accessing web on your phone. Here are some of them as listed below.

Small Screen Size

This is one big disadvantage of accessing internet on the mobile phone. Web pages appear small due to the small size of the phone screen and cause difficulties in navigating. There are large screen Smartphones available in the market like iPhone, Samsung etc but they come with a heavy price tag.

Slow Connectivity

However good the mobile operator is but still you cannot expect high-speed internet on your mobile. There is no comparison in the speeds of the broadband internet connections and mobile internet. Mobile internet speed is very slow and often users have to restrict themselves from surfing the internet. In addition, video streaming and games cannot be played as fast as you do on your desktop and laptop. So, it gets very frustrating if you want to use the mobile internet for these purposes.

Unsupported content

Many mobile phones do not support Java Script, flash and other plug in contents. This is very annoying. Users have difficulty streaming videos and also some pages do not load and if it is a secured connection, they cannot open. These days Smartphones are engraved with browsers that do not have the above disadvantages but still they are nothing in comparison to computers in terms of reliability.

Being unable to pick of where you left

Accessing the web on a computer is different from accessing it on the mobile. In computer we can quickly access the recently visited pages or websites we need for reference are there always once we open the computer. However, expecting the same from a mobile is difficult. Once the browser in the mobile is restarted, the tabs in the same position where you have left them to be there cannot be expected.
