Samsung has reported that second generation note’ sales are much faster than its predecessor. This Smartphone was first released in September in South Korea before its launch in the States and other parts of the world in last month. This Smartphone has taken excerpts from the Galaxy note and Galaxy S III that was launched recently. Though this phone has 5.5”screen and larger than its predecessor with 5.3”, it is still not uncomfortable to hold. It is taller and narrower than Galaxy note. However the curved edges make it look familiar to the Galaxy S IIII.

This hybrid of tablet and phone called the “Phablet” has 5.5” screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 1.6 GHz quad core Exynos processor, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 64 GB with micro SD card. It is powered by the latest Jelly bean OS from Android and it weighs 178 grams.

The Galaxy Note II carriers are Verizon and AT&T. Verizon is taking pre-orders for this phone and AT&T said that it will release the phone for sale online and in stores starting November 9th.  The phone is priced at $299 onwards.
