CONS
- Processor Speed- Apple’s says the dual core A5 processor that powers iPad mini is very capable and enough to run the tablet but the A6 chip powering iPhone 5 and the A6X chip of iPad are much faster when compared to the iPad mini. So, the A5 processor of iPad mini could be a little disappointing. After all an old one is an old one no matter what others have to say.
- Lack of Retinal Display- The iPad mini has 7.9” screen with 1024 x 768 pixels resolution, which is better when compared to iPad and iPad 2, but it does not have the Retina display.
- iOS6- The iOS6, is undoubtedly the best operating system but still has some drawbacks like inability to support widgets and some dynamic home screen content.
- Price- iPad mini is priced at $329. It is less expensive according to the company but still its not cheap. The company’s rivals have priced their gadgets at $199. So, if prices are compared it gives a difference of $130 which is a biggie and so consumers will think twice before rushing to the store to buy it.
