Samsung has announced the arrival of another Galaxy Smartphone, The Samsung Galaxy 4G Express. The South Korean based company has announced the arrival of the new handset before the MWC 2013, phone fest. It is said to be released in UK in the first half of this year.

It is a mid range Android device which weighs 4.8 oz and dimensions of 5.22” x 2.72 x 0.37”, 4.5” Super Amoled Screen with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, 1.2 GHz dual Core processor, 1 GB RAM, runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 5 GB internal storage, Touch WIZ interface, 5MP camera, 1.3 MP front camera, Connectivity features like Bluetooth4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi but no NFC.

According to Samsung this is a 4G handset, which is value driven and is aimed at the young Social Explorer. It is would be best for the users who would like to explore areas with a strong 4G signal.

This phone has all Samsung’s branded features like All share Play for songs sharing and photos between Samsung phones, tablets and S Beam which transfers info by touching together the handsets and also NFC.

Like mentioned earlier, Samsung has announced that the Galaxy 4G Express will be released in the United Kingdom in the first half year of the year. There is no news yet about its price still but given that Samsung has been saying it is a “Value Driven” handset and is aiming at younger generation for its sales so, it is likely to expect the pricing might be in a range of Low to Mid price. However, the 4G connection might set the users a pretty penny.

The phone is expected to be in sale in the first half of 2013.  We just have to wait and see how it fares at the MWC 2013.
