A recent survey conducted by eBay revealed that iPhone users are concerned about several aspects of the upcoming model’s battery. A common complaint with most smartphones is how quickly the charge drains, and users are hoping the new version of Apple’s flagship mobile device can improve in that area.
The most desired feature for the new phone among poll participants is a longer-lasting battery. Customers are sick of having to carry around chargers with them everywhere they go and are over worrying about if friends, or even bartenders at their local, have a compatible charger.
In addition to how it charges, iPhone users were also looking to be able to remove the phone’s battery at their own convenience, presumably to make it possible to easily replace it.
But even the most skeptical user knows battery charges can’t last forever, and when it comes to charging customers are ready to cut the cords once and for all. Many users want to charge their iPhone 6 wirelessly. This feature is especially important to them, as they are more likely than Samsung phone users to be looking for this capability. They might be in luck. Rumours are swirling about Apple locking down a patent that revolves around wireless charging. There are even some rumbles about the phones being partially solar powered. While none of that is confirmed, the eBay poll participants would certainly welcome those additions.
