CarPlay is a new technology made by Apple which will offer a smooth experience of touch screen navigation on a car dashboard. The CarPlay was for demo for the public at the International Auto Show which was mounted and enabled in a Volvo car which integrated seamlessly with the cars hardware and software.
The interface is as snappy and smooth at the iOS on an iPhone works, with no lag or difference in the software. If you own an Apple gadget or have used the iOS , then CarPlay will be a piece of cake.
The OS is as easy as using an iPhone device for the first time and can access all the functions of the iOS. Some things to notice are there is no lag between switching apps and swiping and this gadget is going to be hard to resist. You might consider buying a new car just to get your hands on this new gizmo.

Lets get a bit deeper into the device, the Siri voice commands work as it does with any other iOS device, which is very helpful while driving. Siri can help drivers pull up Apple Maps, calls, music and almost all other stuff that is manageable by Siri, except let Siri drive the car. The Maps are very easy to navigate with voice commands with location turned on. The location will help to pin point your exact location that can help you drive to your destination.  The maps as always provide turn by turn navigation with 3D buildings and detailed route information.

The CarPlay can make calls as easily as pushing Siri’s button and saying “Call Emma Watson” which will parse directly as the same with text messages. The device will tell you if you get a message but won’t let you know if there is an image attached to it since it could be a distraction while driving.

The CarPlay is very easy to use which doesn’t need a learning curve to get used to, the Apple’s ecosystem is so user friendly that it can be adjustable in a very short time. CarPlay will be available in a few months in the market.
