HTC is all set for its New York event. The Taiwanese company has sent invitations for an event it is holding in New York on the 13th of November. The details of the event are bit vague now and also details of the devices to be unveiled are also not mentioned. However the event is to show the world its latest collaboration with Verizon. With the recent leaks on the internet, it can be expected to unveil its new device HTC Droid DNA. Another speculation is about the HTC’s Windows Phone 8X for which it is teaming with Verizon. This device is yet to receive a date for launch and price. So, it can be either of the devices for which the event is being held.

The upcoming phone looks to be a close relative of HTC J Butterfly of Japan. The verizon’s coming Phablet , the HTC Droid DNA looks like the 4G LTE version of the HTC Butterfly J. This has a 5” super LCD 3 display with 1080 pixels resolution. It has the Droid red eye that is common with every Droid phone, front camera, 3 navigation keys on the bottom, red strip on the side what seems to be a port, Quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro silicon processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB in-built memory, 8 or 12 MP camera, 2500 mAh battery, microSD cards, Sense-d Android 4.1 Jelly Bean are some of the projected specs.

From the leaked images on the internet this phone looks like a monster Smartphone and could pose a threat to the Galaxy Note II.

It is speculated to be launched on the November 13th event of HTC  and Verizon at New York and to be released in the market in the month of December.
