Have you not bought the iPhone 5, the latest Apple iPhone ? Are you planning to buy it soon? If yes, then hold your horses. There might be an iPhone 5S or 6 in the markets soon, if the rumors are any true. The news that Apple will begin trial production of iPhone 5S in December is spreading like wildfire through the internet. The news was first initiated by a Chinese publication The Commercial Times and then spread by Digitimes, a publication that always stirs up unreliable rumors and speculations.

The big Question is, is Apple really working towards a new phone? It has just released the latest iPhone in September this year. According to the rumor, new iPhone, iPad version and Apple HDTV(long rumored) will be released in early 2013. This rumor seems to be a little too much because shipping of iPhone 5 just slipped back once again this week.

A new iPhone will surely come in 2013, but the question is will Apple release iPhone 5S or will it skip the upgraded version and go on with the iPhone 6. Considering Apple’s track record, there will be a iPhone 5 next as Apple always releases the upgraded version. So, iPhone 5S could be at WWDC 2013, rather than at fall like last two iPhones. Rumors are speculating that Apple might put the iPhone 5S first production in December and a full production starting Q1 of 2013.

With iPhone 5 launched in September, the question what could the next version have that would really tempt customers to buy it? iPhone 5 at last has the 4G LTE support, but still it ships a dual core processor, so iPhone 5S may have a new Quad core. The alleged Apple A7 processor might be another new thing iPhone 5S could use and an improvement in the camera are what expected to be in iPhone 5S.

If the rumors are any true, it means that Apple is shifting its yearly product release to a six month release schedule. The demand for the iPhone at present shows that 6 month release schedule for Apple is possible. But it might be a little hard for the customers to spend hundreds of dollars two times a year for a phone especially if there are only minor improvements from the previous version.

It is a catch for iPhone customers who bought iPhone 5 Mobile Phone at its launch and will probably regret their decision once iPhone 5S or 6 specs are released, but those who are still holding on to the older hardware of iPhone 4 or 4S might feel their decision is justified.
