Mobiles phones have become an important part of our life. We all love our mobile phones and want them to look nice and new like they way they were when we first bought them. But as we use them they seem to grow old, with scratches on the screen and the remaining parts and they do not look good and also hinder the display. This is especially true with touch screen Smartphones. These phones have large display screens and they have friendly UI. But also they tend to get scratches easily. We put our phones in our pockets or purses and they get scratched by objects like keys, coins, pens etc. Such expensive gadgets when easily damaged seem to be hurting the owner. However, we can do our part in undoing the damage. Follow these simple tips and let your phone look new.
- Tooth Paste-Use the regular toothpaste with which we clean our teeth daily. Apply a little paste over the screen and wipe it with care with a soft cloth on the area where there are scratches. After doing so, let the paste dry and wipe the remaining toothpaste neatly and carefully off the screen.
- Powder- Use the talcum powder that we apply on our face to remove the scratches. Mix soft powder with a little bit of water to form a paste and then wipe it over the scratches on the screen with soft cloth. Leave it for a while and then wipe the remaining with a soft cloth carefully.
- Baking soda-This does wipe away the scratches over the display screen neatly.
- Leather care products-The products that we normally use at home to clean leather products remove scratches neatly as well. But the only disadvantage is they leave a pungent odor.
- Display Polish- Put a small amount of display polish on the screen with scratches and polish the area with a soft clean cloth for around 3 minutes. Repeat if scratches still persist.
Prevent Scratches
Prevention is better than cure. It is better to prevent scratches from developing rather than using all your might to remove them. You must protect your investment. Here are some prevention tips.
- Always watch where you place your phone. Do not stuff it into your pocket or purse where you might also place your keys, coins etc.
