Smart phones, are the craze in the tech market these days, and to top the smart phone market, two phones run the race, striving to win the number one position, the iPhone and the Android phones. The iPhone lovers hate Android and vice versa but they walk on the line fence and admire the advantages of both phones. However, there are some reasons some people will shift from an iPhone to Android. Here are a 5 of them listed.

• iPhone Screen not as good as Android for Internet surfing Though iPhone has improved many factors in their phone, yet the size of the phone screen is small when compared to the Android Phones. Android Smartphone’s have a large screen display which makes internet browsing much better experience. One example of the big screen smartphone for internet browsing is the Galaxy line of phones from Samsung.

• Amazing Navigation on Android iPhone has Google maps on it but it is excellent on Android because of Google’s own OS. Android phones have a navigation system for free which the iPhone lacks in it. You just need to name the place you want to go and the Android device will track it down for you in no time. The next turn you need to take will be notified at the map top, you will even receive a voice command.

• Working of Google Products The working of google products on iPhone and the Android phones differ. For example take Gmail, on iPhone you need an account set up via iPhone mail account and it is not as great as Gmail on Android device. Other Google products like YouTube and Google+ too are excellent on Android phones than on iPhone.

• No need for SIRI iPhone’s SIRI has caused quite a stir in the mobile market, but for the fact voice commands were present on Android phones way before iPhone’s SIRI. Users can place a call or find a place with just a voice command. You can even search the internet with just a command “search”. So, SIRI is smart but when the question is about making common tasks easy, Android wins the game.

• Android is Open Android phone provides great hardware and also leaves room for third party apps in the Android market which Apple does not allow in the Apple App store. However, it has some security risks but users have access to apps on Android which is not possible on on iOS. Android phones can be customized by removing the preloaded apps and software installed by carriers. These custom ROMs allow users to get latest updates that fix the bugs, new features etc. This is not quite possible on iPhone.
